There are more job opportunities in our country than people to fill them. That’s good news for our economy and great news for the newest generation of job seekers, recent graduates. Thanks to a robust economy, historically low unemployment, and the largest tax cut in history, our country is in the midst of a great American comeback, and millennials, perhaps more than any other generation, will reap the fruit of this great economic boon.

Last week, 28 young conservative leaders and representatives from 18 different organizations gathered in Washington, D.C., for the Republican National Committee’s Youth Coalition Summit to discuss the opportunities before us and how we can strengthen the conservative movement. Trump 2020 Campaign Manager Brad Parscale and Deputy Executive Director John Pence joined us for an open dialogue about what it means to be a young Republican today and what millennials can do to shape the future of the GOP and our country.

We discussed ground game strategy, building coalitions, and using millennial resources to spread the conservative message. The group established goals to be in open and constant contact with each other and to meet regularly to discuss our ground game leading up to the midterm elections and beyond. The summit was a tremendous success, demonstrating that young conservatives across the nation are organizing on a united front to promote conservative values and spread the good news about President Trump and the Republican agenda.

If the Youth Coalition Summit was any indication of what’s to come, the future looks bright.

However, now is not the time to become complacent. If this great American comeback is to continue, we need more young, conservative messengers in our communities. We need Republicans in Congress who will support President Trump’s winning agenda and champion economic principles that benefit our generation.

This is our moment to be a part of this historic movement.
